Description
Hard to find center Isle barn is now available is in good condition. These four bents, three bays center aisle gable entrance barn was built by a Dutch builder. Steep roof pitch (14 over 12) and wider width than overall length is several strong evidence of it date and builder. I am to guess the date of this barn built between 1675-1695. The original front main door has been converted into a rolling track door sometime after 1840’s. We intent bringing it back to the original style using pintel & hinges. The outer aisles are 13′ & 14′ wide, while the center aisle 12′ wide. All three bays are 12′ wide. Barn has a good mixture of vertical sawn and hewn adzed timbers. Barn has ability to create two more level for more living or storage space. Barn makes a fine home, horse barn, cafe, etc….
