Exposed Frame
construction is not only an exotic way of building it also
is extremely energy efficient. While the interior is dressed
with barn boards, on the outside of the structure are SIP
panels. These panels are generally from 6-8" in thickness
and are filled with foam insulation and interior
electrical/plumbing. These insulated panels form a
completely sealed building envelope that far surpasses the
insulation used in conventional construction.

Nationwide Barn Appraisal / Insurance
Damage Assessment -
Timber frame construction is far different than
conventional "stick" frame construction. Antique timbers,
barn boards and other components in an antique frame are
costly to replace. Procurement isn't the only problem with
repairing your antique structure. Antique Joinery is
typically mortise and tenon, if the joinery has been subject
to damage its likely a major part of the frame structure
assembly has to be dissembled to properly remediate the
damages.
If your timberframe home or barn has been
damaged by any loss, its likely the damages will be
appraised as if they were of stick built assembly. Please
contact us.
